The Recourse practice is operated from this office. The address is the formal brokerage address for compliance and correspondence purposes. We meet with Florida-area clients in person when appropriate; the work itself happens through the portal regardless of geographic distance.

If you're in a hurry

If your foreclosure sale is imminent — say, within the next 60 days — please call rather than email. Time-sensitive situations need direct conversation rather than email back-and-forth. Even if you call after hours, leave a voicemail and we will get back to you the next business day.

If your situation primarily calls for an attorney rather than a brokerage — defending the foreclosure case in court, considering bankruptcy, dealing with a contested estate or divorce — we can refer you to a Florida-licensed attorney who handles these matters. We don't maintain a single affiliated attorney; we refer to attorneys we trust for the specific situation you're facing.

If you're not a homeowner but you're trying to help one

We sometimes hear from family members, financial advisors, attorneys, and others trying to help a Florida homeowner in distress. We're happy to talk through the situation with you and either work directly with the homeowner (with their consent) or refer them to appropriate resources.

The homeowner's consent is required for us to do any work on their behalf — short sale work involves their property, their financial situation, and their decisions about their home. We can have a general conversation with you about options, but the operational work requires the homeowner to engage directly.

Spanish-language support

Marie and our operational team are bilingual. The site is available in Spanish (toggle in the header). Email and phone support are available in Spanish. There is no separate Spanish-language number; the main phone has a Spanish option.
